In 2002, Gulf Consult working in association with Michael Gebhart Architect, AIA, who provided architectural concept and schematic design input, won the first prize in a design competition for a new office complex to support the recently restored, historic KOC HQ building.
Gulf Consult were subsequently awarded the full design and supervision of this project.
The purpose of the project is to:
• Create a new complex of offices, comprising six buildings, each of which would cater for a different Directorate or Department.
• Design these new offices to house approximately 2,200 employees.
