Located in the Shuaiba Industrial area, this project
consists of a 1.8 MTPY (million ton per year) cement manufacturing plant, comprised of a complete clinker production and storage facility. It also has a ship unloader at the port for raw materials, in addition to a conveyor from the port to the plant.
The main elements of the compound are a raw materials storage shed, a concrete mixing hopper building, two raw mills, a concrete pre-heater tower, a pre-stressed concrete blending silo, a kiln, a cooling building, a clinker steel silo, two concrete silos, a control station building, a petrocoke mill and an overhead gallery.

Gulf Consult’s scope of work included the detailed architectural and structural design of all civil work, including the detailing of the reinforced and pre-stressed concrete structures, machine foundations and structural steel buildings.
