It consisted of a dual carriageway linking the present town of Jahra to the future city of Subiya.

Due to the lack of funds, only one side of the carriageway was built under Gulf Consult's supervision.

The road is now used for two-way traffic and is approximately 70 kms long closely following the coast line.

Location: Coast Road from Jahra to Subiya.

Client: Ministry of Public Works.

Services Performed:
Studies, Full Design and Supervision.

Cost: KD. 4.0 million.

Completion: 1980.

Project Data:
Dual carriageway linking the present town of Jahra to the future city of Subiya.

Hardened crossing points are provided along the length of the road to enable military vehicles to traverse.
