This project comprises 9.5 km of dual and three lane
motorway and associated roads, with a total of 14 bridges and grade separated structures.

Construction work had started pre-invasion, work could only restart after liberation following a detailed assessment of potential damage to bridges and flooding of areas below the water table.

Mouchel/Gulf consult undertook all damage assessment and subsequently full construction supervision. All construction work was completed on time and within budget in mid 1995.
