Al Tamdeen real Estate Co. were awarded this project on
a BOT basis by Kuwait Municipality, having successfully won an earlier design competition.
Gulf Consult were commissioned to lead a design team to under-take, on a fast track basis, full design and tender documents for the redevelopment of the existing Fahaheel fish market and dhow harbor with the creation of:
New fresh fish, meat and vegetable market.
1km of new beach facilities.
Substantially increased dhow harbor, to include moorings for fishing boats (adjoining the fish market) and luxury marina (adjoining the recreation complex).
Recreational complex comprising restaurants, cafes and three cinemas.
